Downtown High School Community Gathering on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. to Talk about Missing Teacher

There is a search underway to help find a teacher from Downtown High School, Ed Cavanaugh. Mr. Cavanaugh was last seen riding his motor bike in the El Dorado National Forest on July 17. Downtown High School is not open at this time but we will be opening the school to students on Thursday, July 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for those who would like to be able to talk more about Mr. Cavanaugh and the search and rescue effort that is underway.

Please do not attempt to call the school with questions as no one is available to answer the phone this week. If you have questions, please join us on Thursday, July 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This is an optional gathering for those who would like to talk about Mr. Cavanaugh. Regardless of whether or not you can make this meeting about Mr. Cavanaugh, we look forward to seeing all returning students on August 17, the first day of school.
